We have an opportunity for you! Our client is seeking a qualified and experienced Registered Nurse for a 13-weeks contract opportunity with a hospital in Cambridge, MA. This position is ideal for a Registered Nurse professional with strong Critical Care and CT Surgery experience who is looking to contribute to a patient-focused imaging team in a hospital setting.

Responsibilities:

Provide comprehensive, evidence-based nursing care to critically ill patients with complex neurological, cardiac, and medical conditions, including frequent assessment and timely intervention for changes in clinical status. Manage neuro-critical care patients, performing focused neurological assessments, monitoring level of consciousness, pupils, motor responses, and vital signs, and promptly escalating acute neurological changes. Care for cardiac and hemodynamically unstable patients, continuously monitoring cardiac rhythms, blood pressure, oxygenation, and other critical parameters while administering medications and titratable therapies as ordered. Manage patients requiring mechanical ventilation, invasive monitoring, multiple IV infusions, and complex life-support interventions, collaborating closely with physicians and multidisciplinary critical-care teams. Administer and monitor high-risk medications, vasoactive infusions, anticoagulants, analgesics, and sedatives, assessing therapeutic response and potential adverse effects while maintaining patient safety.

Qualifications:

Must have minimum of 2-year of ICU RN experience. Must have CT surgery experience and experience with devices like IABP and IMPELLA. Must be MA State RN Licensed

AHA-BLS, AHA-ACLS

required. Associates of Science in Nursing

• required, Bachelors of Science in Nursing degree
• preferred.
