Administer medications and injections accurately while adhering to aseptic techniques and hospital protocols. Monitor patients' conditions using telemetry systems and respond swiftly to changes in vital signs or clinical status. Collaborate with physicians and specialists on procedures such as catheterization, suturing, dialysis, and wound care to ensure seamless treatment delivery. Document all patient interactions, treatments, and outcomes precisely within electronic health record (EHR) systems like Epic or Cerner. Educate patients and families on post-discharge care, medication management, pain control strategies, and health coaching principles. Qualifications Valid RN license with current registration; experience working in a hospital or acute care environment preferred. Demonstrated proficiency with EMR/EHR systems such as Epic or Cerner; familiarity with
ICD-9/10
coding is advantageous. Critical care experience including ICU or Level I/II trauma center exposure highly desirable. Strong knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, infection control practices, and aseptic techniques. Experience with diverse patient populations including geriatrics, pediatrics, behavioral health, and individuals with disabilities or developmental challenges. Skills in IV infusion, venipuncture, tube feeding management, airway management, and ventilator support preferred. Ability to perform physical examinations and diagnostic evaluations accurately while maintaining HIPAA compliance. Excellent communication skills for triage assessments, discharge planning, case management, and collaboration within multidisciplinary teams.
