Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Travel Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Medical-Surgical (MS) and Telemetry (TELE) units to join our dynamic healthcare team. Responsibilities Deliver comprehensive nursing care to adult and pediatric patients in medical-surgical and telemetry units, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care plans. Administer medications and treatments with precision, including IV infusions, suturing, catheterization, and ventilator management. Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Epic or Cerner to document patient information accurately and efficiently. Monitor vital signs continuously and respond swiftly to changes in patient condition, especially in critical care or trauma situations. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate discharge planning, case management, and follow-up care for complex cases involving hospice & palliative medicine or long-term care needs. Maintain strict adherence to infection control protocols, aseptic techniques, HIPAA regulations, and safety standards across all nursing activities. Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding treatment plans, medication administration, pain management strategies, and health coaching. Experience Proven clinical experience in hospital medicine settings such as ICU or Level I/II trauma centers with familiarity in trauma medicine and acute pain management. Demonstrated proficiency working with EMR/EHR systems like Epic or Cerner; experience with

ICD-9/ICD-10

coding is preferred. Critical care experience including ventilator management, airway management, and ICU procedures is highly desirable. Background working in diverse environments such as emergency medicine, cardiac catheterization labs, or surgical units including OR experience is advantageous. Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special needs such as developmental disabilities or dementia care enhances your suitability for this role. Knowledge of diagnostic evaluation procedures including sonography or laboratory testing supports comprehensive patient assessments.
