In this role, you'll provide bedside care, administer medications, monitor patient conditions, and maintain accurate electronic health records across varied hospital and clinical environments. You'll collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams, educate patients and families, and quickly adapt to new workflows and policies. Responsibilities Provide direct patient care on travel assignments across diverse clinical settings Administer medications, treatments, and monitor patient responses per physician orders Perform patient assessments, document care, and update electronic health records accurately Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and care teams to develop and adjust care plans Educate patients and families on conditions, treatments, and discharge instructions Adapt quickly to new hospital policies, workflows, and electronic record systems Comply with all nursing standards, infection control protocols, and safety regulations Coordinate with Lucid Staffing recruiters to select and prepare for travel assignments Required Skills Patient assessment IV insertion and therapy Medication administration Electronic Health Records (EHR) documentation Care planning and coordination Telemetry monitoring Wound care management Infection control protocols
