In this vital role, you will provide expert nursing care across multiple departments and settings, ensuring seamless patient experiences and optimal health outcomes. Your adaptability, clinical expertise, and compassionate approach will help us deliver exceptional care in fast-paced environments, including hospitals, outpatient clinics, long-term care facilities, and community health settings. This position offers an exciting opportunity to expand your skills while making a meaningful difference in patients' lives every day. Duties Deliver comprehensive patient assessments, vital signs monitoring, and physical examinations to evaluate health status accurately. Administer medications, including injections and IV infusions, following strict aseptic techniques and medical protocols. Assist with complex procedures such as catheterizations, suturing, wound care, and ventilator management. Coordinate patient care plans through case management, discharge planning, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams. Maintain detailed medical documentation using EMR/EHR systems like Epic or Cerner to ensure accurate recordkeeping. Provide specialized care for diverse populations including geriatrics, pediatrics, patients with developmental disabilities, and those requiring memory or hospice care. Respond promptly to emergencies such as acute pain episodes, trauma incidents at Level I or II trauma centers, or critical care situations in ICU or PICU settings. Requirements Valid RN license in good standing with the appropriate state licensing board. Proven experience working in diverse clinical environments such as hospital medicine, emergency medicine, critical care (ICU), or long-term care facilities. Strong knowledge of medical terminology, ICD coding (ICD-9/ICD-10), and familiarity with EMR/EHR systems like Epic or Cerner. Demonstrated competence in procedures including IV insertion, phlebotomy, tube feeding management, and sterile processing techniques. Critical thinking skills with experience in triage, acute pain management, infectious disease care, and trauma medicine. Ability to adapt quickly across various departments such as outpatient clinics, home care settings, occupational health units, or assisted living communities. Excellent communication skills combined with a compassionate approach to patient-centered care.
