When you join the growing BILH team, you're not just taking a job, you're making a difference in people's lives.As a Registered Nurse, you will work collaboratively within a dynamic multi-disciplinary team at our 24/7 Crisis Stabilization Unit (CSU). We provide short-term residential stabilization (averaging 3 to 5 days) for voluntary adult and pediatric clients managing psychiatric and/or substance use disorders.

Your core mission is to foster a positive, therapeutic environment where you lead supportive groups, facilitate medication evaluations, and ensure smooth transitions through comprehensive aftercare planning.

Key Responsibilities:

Clinical Assessments:

Gather thorough screening data, including bio-psycho-social histories, psychiatric backgrounds, medication logs, and substance use details.

Medication & Medical Oversight:

Oversee medication administration and closely monitor/record the biomedical status, symptoms, reactions, and safety changes of all clients.

Care Coordination:

Participate actively in treatment team meetings, contribute to individualized care plans, and maintain accurate medical records.

Environment & Safety:

Monitor the patient milieu for potential safety risks while actively promoting a supportive and encouraging therapeutic culture.

Transitions of Care:

Facilitate seamless admission, discharge, and transfer processes for all clients.

QualificationsValid and current Massachusetts Registered Nurse (RN) license.

Certifications:

Current CPR certification.

Per Diem Pay Range:

$38.76 - $52.17The pay range listed for this position is the base hourly wage range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time. Actual compensation is determined based on several factors, that may include seniority, education, training, relevant experience, relevant certifications, geography of work location, job responsibilities, or other applicable factors permissible by law. Compensation may exceed the base hourly rate depending on shift differentials, call pay, premium pay, overtime pay, and other additional pay practices, as applicable to the position and in accordance with the law.
