Student Nursing Assignments Transportation/Bus Ride Nursing Coverage Field Trip Nursing Coverage Health Office Support Per Diem and Substitute School Nursing Opportunities Short-Term and Long-Term Assignments Responsibilities:

Provide direct nursing care to students in accordance with physician orders and individualized health plans Assess and respond to student health concerns throughout the school day Administer medications and treatments as prescribed Monitor students with chronic or acute medical conditions Maintain accurate documentation and health records Collaborate with school staff, families, and healthcare providers to support student well-being Promote a safe and healthy learning environment

Qualifications:

Active Massachusetts RN license Current CPR certification Strong assessment, communication, and documentation skills Pediatric, school nursing, or community health experience preferred, but not required Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team Why Join Us?

The School Registered Nurse oversees the application of the nursing process and the delivery of student care in a school setting. The School RN supports the physical, mental and emotional well-being of students within the school setting. The School RN plays an essential role in promoting the health and safety, responding to medical emergencies, managing chronic conditions and serving as a liaison between families, school staff and healthcare providers. The School RN provides services in accordance with Amergis' philosophy, standards, policies and physician orders.

Minimum Requirements:
