Job Description

Category Nursing - RN-ICU Job Type Travel Embark on a dynamic nursing opportunity providing critical care in a fast-paced ICU setting. This contract role offers a chance to work with a multidisciplinary team in a respected acute care hospital environment. This position is ideal for nurses with a proven background in intensive care and the adaptability to thrive in a rotating shift structure.
Schedule:
36 hours per week 50/50 split between day and night shifts Every other weekend (EOW) and every other holiday (EOH) required
Required Qualifications:
Active RN license Minimum of 2 years' recent experience in acute care inpatient or current ICU At least 1 year of travel nursing experience Strong assessment, critical thinking, and clinical decision-making skills Ability to excel in high-pressure, complex patient care situations Excellent communication and collaborative abilities
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver specialized nursing care to critically ill adult patients Monitor patient conditions, perform frequent assessments, and respond rapidly to changes Collaborate intensively with physicians, specialists, and ancillary team members Implement physician orders, administer treatments and medications accurately Maintain detailed and timely patient records adhering to facility standards Guide and educate patients and their families on care plans and progress Adhere meticulously to infection control, safety, and quality protocols
