The Nurse Educator will serve as an educator, consultant, facilitator, mentor, role model, and leader , assessing staff educational needs and planning, coordinating, delivering, and evaluating orientation and continuing education programs.

Hours:

40 hours/week Pay Range

• $2600 to $3000 Per week depends on experience and location Key Responsibilities Assess staff educational and professional development needs Develop and conduct orientation and educational programs Facilitate adult learning and staff development Mentor and support nursing staff Evaluate educational programs and their effectiveness Promote improved patient outcomes and professional development Serve as a clinical resource and educational leader Requirements Current Massachusetts RN license BSN required ; MSN in Education or CNS preferred BLS and ACLS•AHA certifications required BLS and ACLS Instructor certification required prior to start Minimum 3-5 years of nursing experience Critical care experience preferred PACU experience required General education experience required Experience in PACU, Endoscopy (ENDO), Central Processing, and OR preferred Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills Previous staff education/training experience preferred Important Requirements Pre-employment testing is required before an offer can be accepted.

Candidates must pass ECG/Telemetry and Medication tests . Testing consists of 20 Dysrhythmia questions and 20 Medication questions . A minimum score of 85% is required.
