2 Description American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele position requiring a MA RN license and 1-2 years of relevant experience. Details Work in the Med/Surg unit of a 46-bed hospital environment (40 acute and 6 intermediate care beds) Telemetry patient population on a Med/Surg floor Day shift ratios of 5-6 patients and night shift ratios of 6-7 patients AM shift schedule of 3x12s (07:00-19:30) totaling 36 hours per week Weekend requirements based on unit needs, up to every other weekend Holiday coverage required based on unit needs No on-call responsibilities Float as needed to the Surge Unit or Emergency Department to manage Med/Surg patients unable to come to the Med/Surg floor Unit supported by an admission/discharge nurse and patient ambulator Respiratory therapist and security available onsite 24/7 No IV team or RRT team available Requirements Active MA RN license required Current BLS and ACLS certifications required 1-2 years of relevant RN experience required Additional Information Provide direct patient care to Med/Surg telemetry patients Collaborate with an admission/discharge nurse and patient ambulator to support unit workflow Coordinate with onsite respiratory therapy and security staff as needed
