Job Description

Category Nursing - RN-NICU Job Type Travel An exciting opportunity awaits experienced Registered Nurses to provide specialized care in a high-acuity Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). In this contract role, you will support the tiniest patients and their families, working alongside a highly skilled, multidisciplinary team dedicated to excellence in neonatal care.
Schedule:
3 x 12-hour night shifts per week
Key Qualifications:
Current RN license in good standing Minimum of one year recent NICU experience RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist) certification required Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills BLS and NRP certifications strongly preferred Exceptional communication and teamwork abilities Compassion and sensitivity when supporting neonates and families
Role Responsibilities:
Deliver evidence-based nursing care to critically ill and premature infants in the NICU Monitor patient status, administer medication, and manage advanced equipment Collaborate closely with neonatologists, respiratory therapists, and a supportive care team Provide clear and compassionate updates to families and guardians Maintain thorough documentation in accordance with all hospital, state, and federal guidelines Respond swiftly and effectively to emergent situations and changes in patient condition Participate in ongoing professional development and unit quality initiatives This opportunity offers the chance to deepen your neonatal expertise in a state-of-the-art NICU environment.
