We see patients from birth through the age 22 and are a proud member of the Pediatric Physician's Organization (PPOC). Our primary hospital affiliations are Boston Children's Hospital and Melrose-Wakefield Hospital. We are seeking a full time Registered Nurse for our practice(s), ideally we would like to share the time for this position between both of of our office locations, we have 2 practice site locations,
Everett, MA and Revere, MA Primary Job Responsibilities:
Educates patients and families about health status, health maintenance, and management of acute or chronic illnesses. Documents patient assessment and intervention data using Epic EHR system. Participates in Quality Improvement Initiatives established by the practice. Reviews patient records to obtain pertinent information to be entered into Epic EHR, including; but not limited to, allergies, chronic conditions, immunization history, medications, social history Responds to incoming patient calls for medical advice, medication clarification needs, basic triage Executes prescribed treatments and medical interventions, administers prescribed medications (such as Depo Provera), and monitors/documents treatment progress and patient response. Supervise and train Medical Assistants Oversee and Assist Medical Home Care Coordinators Oversee Vaccine and medication ordering, assuring appropriate supply is in stock to serve patients needs.
Education:
RN Degree. Completion of nursing training from an accredited school of nursing.
Requirements:
Current Massachusetts state registered nurse license. Current CPR certificate
