1 Description American Traveler is hiring a MICU RN for a night shift, every-other-weekend position requiring 2+ years of continuous MICU experience and telemetry proficiency. Details 20-bed Medical/Surgical ICU within a Level III Trauma Center Cares for adult patients with diagnoses including substance abuse/overdose, severe psychiatric conditions, DKA, sepsis, GI bleed, respiratory failure, cardiac arrest, renal failure, and cardiogenic shock Attendings and residents present in the ICU 24 hours a day RN to patient ratio of 1:2, or 1:1 for high acuity patients, and 1:4 or 1:5 when floated to Med/Surg units 36 hours per week on night shift with every other weekend required Night shift does not rotate Floating required, primarily to Medical/Surgical units Uses

EPIC EMR

Requirements Active Massachusetts RN license (no conditional licenses accepted) AHA BLS and ACLS certification required (Salem accepts AHA only) 2+ years of continuous adult ICU experience required, preferably in a MICU Telemetry competency required, including ability to read tele strips EPIC charting experience Additional Information Provide direct patient care in a high-acuity medical/surgical ICU setting Flu vaccine required with no religious or medical exemptions allowed Free on-site parking available Local candidates accepted if residing within 60 miles of the facility, at a reduced rate RTO must be disclosed prior to starting the assignment
