At Boston Speech Therapy, we are seeking a School Nurse for a full-time contract position. The nurse will provide one-to-one nursing care and support to a student who requires feeding tube management and epilepsy-related care during the school day.

Responsibilities:

Provide one-to-one nursing care and medical support to the assigned student.

Manage feeding tube feeds and provide appropriate care in accordance with the students individualized healthcare plan.

Monitor the student for seizure activity and respond appropriately to epilepsy-related medical needs.

Administer medications and treatments as prescribed and authorized.

Assess and respond to medical emergencies.

Collaborate with teachers, parents, and healthcare providers to develop and implement individualized health plans.

Maintain accurate and confidential health records.
