Job Description

On call daily and long-term substitute school nurse. Seeking currently licensed RNs or LPNs to substitute in school health offices in the NMRSD. Responsibilities include care of ill or injured students, administration of medications (both scheduled and prn), documentation of care provided, and consultation with primary nurse in whichever school you are subbing. Field trip coverage is also needed and opportunities to accompany a field trip are available. Hours vary by school, as do ages of students. You do have the ability to choose to work with a specific age group or hours. Knowledge of SNAP Health Center (electronic recording program) helpful, but not required. We will provide training on the computer program and orientation to the health office.
