Bethesda, MD Join the NIH Clinical Center and provide high-quality care to patients in a specialized Medical-Surgical/Infectious Disease unit.
Schedule:
2 (8hr) & 2 (12hr) shifts

NIH Clinical Center Requirements:
Active RN license & BLS Certification Minimum 2 years of recent acute-care Medical-Surgical experience Strong clinical and communication skills Job Responsibilities Provide direct nursing care to adult patients with medical-surgical and infectious diseases. Assess patients, develop and implement individualized nursing care plans, and evaluate outcomes. Administer medications, IV therapy, and treatments safely and accurately. Monitor patient conditions and recognize changes requiring immediate intervention. Perform comprehensive assessments and maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation. Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and the multidisciplinary healthcare team. Follow infection prevention and control protocols, including appropriate isolation precautions. Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, medications, and discharge instructions. Assist with procedures and provide care for patients with complex medical conditions. Promote patient safety, comfort, dignity, and quality of care in accordance with NIH Clinical Center standards.
Pay:
From $55.00 per hour Expected hours: 36.0 per week
