Job Description
Ideal Qualifications:
Active Maryland Registered Nurse license Familiarity with school-based nursing or pediatric populations - ideal for those with a background in critical care Competency in g-tube care and trach ventilator management Reliable transportation to travel between school sites as required Professional, clear communicator comfortable collaborating with school personnel, students, and familiesPrimary Responsibilities:
Provide direct nursing care for assigned students at both Easton High School and St. Michael's High, adjusting to different locations as the week requires Monitor and assess students' clinical status and implement physician-ordered interventions, especially related to g-tube or trach care Collaborate with educators, parents, and care teams to ensure students' health and safety throughout each school day Participate in planning meetings and adapt to evolving caseload elements, including the potential to ride the bus with students if needed Maintain accurate documentation and observe school policies on confidentiality and emergency responseBenefits:
