A Registered Nurse provides medical care and treatment, educates patients about their conditions, and provides emotional support to patients and families. Works in hospitals, schools, clinics or community health centers. Works under the supervision of a physician or other specialist, and serves as the primary point of care for patients in a hospital setting. May specialize in emergency room work, or treatment for a particular condition, or specialize in working with infants, the elderly or other patient groups. May work as an advanced practice specialists and prescribe medications in addition to offering specialty care.
Job Overview We are seeking a highly motivated dedicated Registered Nurse to join our concierge healthcare team. As our Clinical Concierge Nurse, you are the clinical heart of the member experience. You greet each member by name, carry her through her visit with warmth and precision, and remain her trusted clinical point of contact between appointments. You will work side by side with our Medical Director in a calm, beautifully run environment where quality is never sacrificed to volume. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and medical history documentation using electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Cerner or Athenahealth. Administer medications and injections accurately following HIPAA guidelines and aseptic techniques, including IV infusions and medication management for pain control, sedation, or other therapies. Welcome members and deliver a polished, concierge-grade check-in experience Perform clinical intake and vital signs, and prepare members and rooms for the physician Draw, submit, and track laboratory specimens, closing the loop on every result under physician review Administer vaccinations and physician-ordered injectables Comfortable performing physician-delegated minor in-office procedures under our Medical Director's supervision and written protocols Manage clinical member calls, providing nursing assessment and guidance within scope and escalating to the physician when appropriate Coordinate prescription and refill requests for physician authorization, and help members navigate pharmacy and access logistics Prepare imaging and specialist referrals, and manage clinical faxes and records requests with outside facilities Own clinical inventory and equipment readiness, so the practice is never caught short on essentials Maintain infection control, sterilization, and OSHA standards to an inspection-ready level Knowledge of ICD coding (ICD-10/ICD-9), CPT coding for procedures, laboratory testing procedures including phlebotomy and specimen processing is desirable.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Active, unencumbered Maryland RN license, or a multistate Nurse Licensure Compact privilege to practice in Maryland Current BLS certification At least two years of clinical nursing experience in an outpatient, ambulatory, or procedural setting Innovative, efficient, high-touch, and exceptionally detail-oriented, who takes ownership and anticipates needs before they arise Warm, articulate, and discreet, with the presence to represent a premium practice on the phone and in person Proficiency with electronic health records is required ; athenaOne experience is preferred Gynecology, women's health, or menopause care experience Aesthetic or minor in-office procedure experience (we will support training for the right candidate) Prior experience in a concierge, direct-pay, or executive-health practice Phlebotomy and point-of-care testing expertise
