We are seeking a compassionate, autonomous Field Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Edgewater team. This is an hourly, part-time position on an as-needed (PRN) basis. You will coordinate your hours directly with our Clinical Manager and Case Management Team, offering you excellent schedule flexibility. Job Responsibilities Clinical Intake:
Conduct initial client assessments, develop care plans, and oversee the Start of Care (SOC) process
Supervisory Home Visits:
Conduct regular home visits to monitor and update care plans for maximum service effectiveness.
Caregiver Oversight:
Assess the quality of care provided, and train caregivers on tasks per client care plans.
Problem Solving:
Partner with clients and families to overcome home care challenges and ensure a safe living environment.
Documentation:
Accurately log client evaluations and interactions into Generations software within deadlines.
Safety Advocacy:
Promptly identify, address, and report any unsafe or abusive situations to supervisors. Qualifications & Skills Active, Maryland Registered Nurse (RN) license Valid Driver's License and reliable personal transportation Strong working knowledge of geriatric care and elderly population issues. Proficiency with MS Office and electronic scheduling/charting software. Excellent communication, customer service, and interviewing skills. Ability to prioritize multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and work well under pressure. Commitment to a positive workplace that respects diverse cultural, spiritual, and ethnic beliefs. Experience Home health or field nursing: 1 year (Preferred) License/Certification Maryland RN License (Required) Driver's License (Required) Work Location Client homes/ Field-based (Edgewater and surrounding areas)
Pay:
$55.00 per hour
