Registered Nurse (RN) You First Care Team You First Care Team is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our growing Residential Service Agency (RSA). This position offers flexible scheduling and is ideal for an RN who enjoys working independently while providing both skilled and non-skilled home care services. Position Summary The Registered Nurse (RN) will conduct client assessments, develop individualized plans of care, perform supervisory visits, provide skilled nursing services as needed, and offer clinical guidance to caregivers. The RN will collaborate with the Administrator, clients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure safe, high-quality, person-centered care. Responsibilities Conduct initial in-home nursing assessments for new clients. Develop and update individualized care plans based on client needs. Perform supervisory visits and periodic client reassessments. Provide clinical guidance, education, and support to caregivers. Monitor client progress and communicate changes in condition to physicians and family members when appropriate. Educate clients and families on chronic disease management, medication adherence, nutrition, fall prevention, and home safety. Perform skilled nursing services as ordered by the physician, including wound care, medication administration, injections, catheter care, and other nursing interventions within the RN scope of practice. Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation. Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure continuity of care. Participate in quality improvement activities and support the agency's commitment to exceptional client care. Qualifications Active Maryland Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing. Minimum of one (1) year of nursing experience (home health experience preferred). Current BLS certification. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Successful background check. Strong assessment, communication, organizational, and documentation skills. Ability to work independently and manage client visits efficiently. Preferred Qualifications Home health or Residential Service Agency experience. Experience with wound care and chronic disease management. Experience supervising caregivers.
