About the Role As an RN in our skilled nursing facility, you'll be a cornerstone of our clinical team, providing hands-on care, critical assessments, and clinical leadership. You'll collaborate with physicians, CNAs, and other healthcare professionals to ensure every resident receives the dignity and support they deserve. Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to residents in accordance with care plans
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Assess and monitor residents' health status and respond promptly to changes
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and the interdisciplinary team
- Supervise and support CNAs and LPNs as needed
- Document accurately in electronic medical records (EMR)
- Follow all policies and procedures of the facility
- Serves as charge nurses when assigned
- Participates as required in quality assurance and performance improvement activities.
- Attends all required educational activities and meetings. Documents care per policy requirements.
- Maintains confidentiality of resident and facility information.
- Demonstrates respect of resident rights and dignity. ? Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered RN license in Maryland or Multistate
- CPR/BLS certification (or ability to obtain upon hire)
- Prior experience in long-term care or geriatrics is a plus—but we'll train the right candidate
