As a PRN RN, you will provide essential nursing care to our patients in the comfort of their homes. Responsibilities:

Meets new and prospective clients and performs an initial assessment of service needs - This could be done virtual and/or in-person, depending on the client's request. Develops a Plan of Care for all new clients and updates as needed Communicates with care managers, caregivers, office staff, clients, family members and other medical professionals about client's needs and concerns Consults with the Clinical Director regarding the supervision of services Provides training to the clients regarding their care, when requested Assures proper maintenance of clinical records and documentation in compliance with State and Federal laws Performs client evaluations every 30, 90 or 120 days as needed by the client's Plan of Care Performs caregiver evaluations every 30, 90 or 120 days as needed by state requirements Provides skills evaluations for new staff during the orientation process Trains new staff and existing staff

Provides Clinical Oversight Qualifications:

RN State License - MD with Trach care experience is required Current CPR and First Aid certification TB vaccination and Hep B vaccination Graduation from an accredited and approved nursing program, as indicated by school transcript or diploma Clear criminal background and driving record Two professional references within the healthcare field Prior home care experience is strongly preferred Self-starter with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively Strong interpersonal skills, including a willingness to teach and mentor caregivers Comfort with technology; prior experience with electronic medical records preferred Ability to drive and travel to cases as assigned This agency is independently owned and operated.
