We offer a "home-like" setting and provide exceptional care to our residents. We are seeking a motivated and warm Wound Nurse to join our team. The Wound Nurse promotes and restores residents' health by completing the nursing process, collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary team members, providing physical and psychological support to residents, friends, and families. The Wound Nurse implements policies and procedures, along with standards of care and practice related to patient care needs involving various types of wounds. Provides direct patient care and assistance to staff nurses, and acts as a consultative service regarding wound care to clinical staff. Performs wound care functions as needed/requested.

Qualification:

Current/active Registered Nurse (RN) license or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). Wound Care Certificate (WCC) preferred. Nursing experience in an acute care setting with with wound care management preferred.
