A Registered Nurse provides medical care and treatment, educates patients about their conditions, and provides emotional support to patients and families. Works in hospitals, schools, clinics or community health centers. Works under the supervision of a physician or other specialist, and serves as the primary point of care for patients in a hospital setting. May specialize in emergency room work, or treatment for a particular condition, or specialize in working with infants, the elderly or other patient groups. May work as an advanced practice specialists and prescribe medications in addition to offering specialty care.

Job Description
- -The ed Nurse (CQI
- site level) coordinates the facility's QI program. This person is responsible for all functions of the QI process and assists each facility's QI (Quality Improvement) committee in identifying, coordinating and tracking QI trends.
- Licensed RN with an active license to practice in Maryland
- Previous experience performing quality review studies/ managing site level QI studies, peer review programs and multi-disciplinary QI programs preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel required
- Minimum of one year of work experience as an RN in a community outpatient clinic, hospital or long-term care facility preferred
- Corrections experience preferred
- Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)/ BLS
- Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check Available shift: Full time, days
