1 Description American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Ambulatory Infusion Suite position requiring proficiency in IV insertions and central line management with no weekends, holidays, or on-call. Details Ambulatory Infusion Suite setting caring for adult non-oncology infusion patients Floats between two locations (Lutherville GSS campus and Howard County Columbia), with location notice given the evening prior to shift Day shift schedule, Monday through Friday, approximately 7:30/8:00 AM to 4:30 PM No weekends, holidays, or on-call requirements Fast-paced infusion center environment with continuous patient monitoring during treatment Patients are discharged home at the end of their infusion Requirements Active RN license (Standard or Compact) Minimum 2 years of RN experience required BLS certification required Must be highly proficient in peripheral IV insertions and peripheral blood draws Skilled in accessing, maintaining, and de-accessing central lines Strong assessment skills across a variety of medical conditions with ability to provide patient education ACLS certification preferred Ambulatory infusion experience preferred Epic EMR experience preferred Previous travel nursing experience preferred Additional Information Provide patient-focused infusion care in a relaxed, supportive environment Continually monitor patients throughout treatment and intervene rapidly in emergent situations Local candidates accepted at the same rate for most locations Howard County General location requires candidates to reside outside a 60-mile radiusCareer Insights for Medical Surgery Registered Nurse
