•7:15 AM) | Onsite | Every other weekend required (Friday, Saturday, Sunday nights) | Holidays rotate with regular staffKey ResponsibilitiesProvide direct patient care on a 32-bed Med/Surg unit (currently operating at 20 beds) with a nurse-to-patient ratio of no more than 5:1Care for a diverse patient population including chest pain, CHF, pneumonia, abdominal pain, pancreatitis, orthopedic, detox, and post-operative patients, including pediatric patientsDocument telemetry strip readings faxed from the ICU monitor techniciansCollaborate with respiratory therapy for management of CPAP, BiPAP, and high-flow oxygen patientsFloat to assist other units as a tasker or extra set of hands as neededComplete documentation using EPIC EMRRequired QualificationsActive RN licensureBLS certification (required)NIHSS certification (required for all RNs)
