Busy community hospital Operating Room with a broad surgical case mixJob Requirements- Active Maryland RN license or compact license at time of submission
- Minimum of 2 years of Operating Room nursing experience required; 3 years preferred
- Strong general OR and surgical robotics experience required
- Ability to scrub and circulate confidently in the Operating Room
- Epic charting experience required
- Community hospital experience required
- BLS required
- ACLS preferred
- CNOR and NIHSS preferred or required per compliance expectations
- First-time travelers may be considered with strong perioperative experience
- Comfortable working rotating weekends, holidays as scheduled, and on-call shiftsResponsibilities
- Provide safe, high-quality perioperative nursing care in the Operating Room
- Scrub and circulate for a wide variety of surgical cases, including general surgery, trauma, orthopedics, neuro, gynecology, urology, vascular, thoracic, bariatric, plastics, and robotics
- Support advanced surgical procedures and maintain readiness for complex operative cases
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and surgical technologists to ensure efficient workflow, patient safety, and excellent outcomes
- Maintain accurate documentation in Epic electronic health record (EHR)
- Participate in call coverage, weekend scheduling, and holiday coverage as assigned
- Float within scope to support departmental needs and adjacent campus coverage when required
