1 Description American Traveler is hiring an RN Circulator for an Operating Room position at a critical access hospital, requiring 2 years of OR experience and a ME or compact RN license. Details Critical access hospital setting with 3 operating rooms and 2 endoscopy/procedure rooms RN-Circulator role supporting Endoscopy, General Surgery, Orthopedics, Gynecology, ENT, Urology, and Ophthalmology cases 1:1 patient ratios Day shift schedule, 4 days per week, 9-hour shifts (7:00 AM - 4:30 PM) Rotating call required Monday through Thursday (7:00 AM - 4:30 PM) Weekend on-call required, rotating, Friday 4:15 PM through Monday 6:45 AM Rotating holiday call required No floating required to other units, though a 25-mile float policy between facilities may apply as needed Uses Stryker, Storz, and Steris equipment
EPIC EMR
Requirements Active RN license (ME or Compact) required Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS Minimum 2 years of OR experience required Scrub experience preferred but not required

experience preferred Driver's License required for consideration 2 professional references required Additional Information Serve as RN Circulator supporting a variety of surgical specialties including endoscopy, general surgery, orthopedics, gynecology, ENT, urology, and ophthalmology Hospital provides scrubs (blue) Air pods, laptops, and cell phone usage are prohibited on the unit Candidates located within 90 miles of any MaineHealth facility are considered local, and local candidates are not eligible for renewals or extensions Candidates who have worked at any MaineHealth facility within the past 12 months should disclose this during consideration RTO should be kept to a minimum, with 3-4 days being a reasonable amount for this 13-week contract at the manager's discretion First-time travelers may be considered
