Responsibilities include:
Delivering skilled nursing services in patients' homes in accordance with physician-directed plans of care Assessing patients' physical, emotional, psychosocial, and spiritual needs Developing individualized care plans with measurable outcomes in partnership with patients and families Managing pain and symptoms to maximize comfort and quality of life Educating patients, caregivers, and family members to support informed decision-making Advocating for patient rights, preferences, and goals of care Collaborating with an interdisciplinary hospice team to provide holistic care Offering guidance, reassurance, and compassionate support during challenging times What You'll Bring Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Maine Minimum of one year of recent clinical nursing experience Knowledge of pain management and symptom control practices Strong assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills Compassion, empathy, and a commitment to patient-centered care Reliable transportation and current automobile insurance Experience Hospice Nursing Firsthand We know hospice nursing is unlike any other specialty.
