Desired Qualifications:

Valid RN license in good standing Prior experience as a school nurse or working with pediatric populations Excellent communication skills for collaborating with educators, students, and families Ability to respond calmly and efficiently in emergency situations Compassionate, patient-centered approach to nursing care Reliable and punctual, with a commitment to consistent weekly attendance

Primary Responsibilities:

Deliver attentive 1:1 nursing care to ensure the students health and safety during school hours on Thursdays and Fridays Administer prescribed medications, monitor for any changes in medical status, and provide interventions as needed Maintain detailed and confidential health records Implement and support the students healthcare plan in coordination with families and school staff Educate staff and peers on relevant health topics, as appropriate Remain vigilant and ready to respond to emergency medical needs at all times Experience the satisfaction of knowing your expertise makes a difference in a students educational journey, all while working in a supportive and inclusive environment with a consistent weekly schedule.
