Epic Position Summary Emergency Department Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week contract assignment. The Registered Nurse will be an essential member of the emergency care team, responsible for delivering safe, efficient, and compassionate direct and indirect patient care through the nursing process. The RN will provide comprehensive emergency nursing services in the Cecile J. Coulomb Emergency Center , which offers a full spectrum of emergency care as well as a dedicated Chest Pain Center. Key Responsibilities Perform comprehensive patient assessments upon admission and throughout the patient's stay. Provide direct and indirect nursing care in accordance with established clinical standards and facility policies. Administer IV medications, therapies, blood products, and other treatments as ordered. Monitor patient conditions and recognize changes requiring immediate intervention. Provide patient and family education regarding treatment, medications, procedures, and discharge instructions. Accurately document nursing assessments, interventions, patient education, observations, and responses to treatment in the Epic EMR. Collaborate effectively with physicians, advanced practice providers, nurses, technicians, and other members of the interdisciplinary healthcare team. Required Qualifications Active and current Registered Nurse license. Minimum 3 years of nursing experience , including: At least 2 years of Emergency Department experience . At least 1 year of critical care nursing experience . Current BLS/BCLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications . #HC1Pay:
