This contract role offers the chance to make a meaningful difference in a school setting, serving as a dedicated 1:1 nurse two days a weekThursdays and Fridays.

Key Qualifications:

Active RN license, valid in the state of Maine Prior experience in a school or pediatric setting highly desirable Strong assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills Comfortable providing individualized care in a school environment Ability to work independently while maintaining excellent collaboration with faculty, parents, and school health staff Current BLS/CPR certification

Primary Responsibilities:

Deliver direct 1:1 nursing care, including medication administration, monitoring of health conditions, and emergency response Develop and implement individualized care plans in consultation with healthcare providers and educational staff Maintain detailed documentation and health records in accordance with school policies and state regulations Educate and advocate for the students health needs to ensure optimal access to educational opportunities Communicate effectively with the students support network, including teachers, administrative staff, and family members This contract role provides a unique opportunity to contribute your expertise in a supportive, student-focused setting.
