7-9 days of call per month Additional Details about the position Prepares the operating room by ensuring all required instruments, equipment, and sterile supplies are ready and functional for each surgical procedure Assists in positioning and preparing patients for surgery, addressing concerns and ensuring comfort and safety according to procedural requirements Anticipates the needs of the surgical team, providing instruments, supplies, and support promptly to maintain efficient workflow Manages specimen collection, labeling, and transport according to facility protocols, ensuring accurate diagnostic results Monitors the patient's condition during surgery, documenting significant changes and notifying the surgeon Handles surgical instruments and supplies, ensuring their proper use, sterilization, and disposal according to facility protocols
