Golden Group Home Services Position Title Contracted Registered Nurse (RN) Position Type Contract / Part-Time / As Needed Position Summary Golden Group Home Services is seeking a qualified and compassionate Contracted Registered Nurse (RN) to provide clinical oversight, nursing consultation, and health-related support services for individuals receiving residential care. The RN will ensure that client health needs are met in accordance with state regulations, physician orders, best nursing practices, and agency policies. This position works collaboratively with leadership, direct support staff, case managers, pharmacies, and healthcare providers to promote the health, safety, and well-being of residents. Key Responsibilities Provide nursing oversight and consultation for residents receiving services in group home settings. Conduct health assessments and monitor residents' medical conditions, changes in health status, and ongoing care needs. Review and update health care plans, physician orders, and nursing recommendations as needed. Ensure medications are administered, stored, and documented in compliance with state regulations and agency policies. Train, delegate, and supervise unlicensed staff or CRMA staff on medication administration, health monitoring, and basic nursing tasks as permitted by law. Provide staff education on topics such as infection control, chronic conditions, emergency response, and resident-specific medical needs. Coordinate medical appointments, follow-up care, lab work, and communication with physicians, specialists, pharmacies, and hospitals. Review incident reports involving medical concerns and provide recommendations or follow-up actions. Assist with admissions by reviewing medical histories, medication needs, and required supports for new residents. Participate in care team meetings and collaborate with guardians, case managers, and interdisciplinary providers. Monitor compliance with health and safety standards, including infection prevention, documentation, and emergency preparedness. Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential nursing documentation. Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Maine. Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience preferred, ideally in behavioral health, developmental services, long-term care, or community-based care. Knowledge of state regulations related to residential services and medication administration preferred. Strong assessment, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and respond to urgent issues as needed. Current CPR/First Aid certification preferred.

Schedule / Compensation

Flexible schedule based on agency needs. Contract rate to be determined based on experience, scope of services, and availability. Work Environment This position requires travel to residential homes operated by Golden Group Home Services and collaboration with staff in person, by phone, and electronically. $45.00 - $65.00 per hour
