3 Description American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg RN for a night shift assignment requiring MI licensure, 2+ years of Med/Surg experience, and pediatric experience. Details Medical/Surgical unit within a 97-bed hospital Uses Epic EMR 12-hour night shifts Every other weekend and holiday required No on-call requirements Requirements Active Michigan (MI) RN license required, verified via LARA and/or Nursys Compact license not accepted Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg experience required Pediatric experience required Epic EMR experience highly preferred Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications from the American Heart Association (AHA) required Skills checklist current within 1 year, pertinent to Med/Surg specialty, required Two supervisory reference forms completed within the last two years required Additional Information Provide direct patient care including medication administration, treatments, education, and patient monitoring Act as team leader/member, delegating and directing support staff as needed Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to establish and update patient care goals Navy blue scrub dress code required Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility, as local candidates are not considered No more than 5 days of requested time off (RTO) during the assignment
