$35.00 - $75.00 per hour We are seeking a dedicated Part-Time Visiting Wound Care Nurse to join our dynamic healthcare team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to provide specialized wound management and patient-centered care in a flexible, part-time capacity. As a vital member of our multidisciplinary team, you will deliver expert wound assessments, develop tailored treatment plans, and educate patients and caregivers to promote healing and prevent complications. Your expertise will help improve quality of life for individuals across various care settings, including long-term care, assisted living, and patients home. Duties Conduct comprehensive wound assessments using advanced techniques such as aseptic technique and sterile processing to ensure optimal healing conditions Develop and implement individualized wound care plans aligned with best practices and current standards, including infection control protocols Perform procedures such as suturing, dressing changes, debridement, and catheter care with precision and attention to detail Educate patients, families, and caregivers on wound management, prevention strategies, and proper use of medical devices like ostomy supplies or catheters Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams utilizing EMR/EHR systems such as Epic or Cerner to document patient progress accurately Monitor patient vital signs, assess pain levels including acute pain management techniques, and adjust treatments accordingly Provide triage services for urgent wound issues, ensuring timely intervention and appropriate referrals when necessary Qualifications Valid nursing license with current registration in your state or jurisdiction Experience in wound care management, License/Certification with experience Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and infection control practices Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems including Epic or Cerner; experience with

ICD-10/ICD-9
