Friday, No Weekends/Holidays Responsibilities Include:
Ability to give injections/infusions. Diabetes, Thyroid and Transgender Care. In-Basket, Telephone Triage. Work along and build on processes for workflow improvement. Team player and leader. Minimum of 3 years nursing experience preferably inpatient or in an ambulatory/clinic setting. Experience caring for patients with diabetes, thyroid or transgender preferred.GENERAL SUMMARY
Provides leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality compassionate patient care. Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to provide, delegate, supervise and document care and teaching of patients and family. Effectively communicates with the health care team. Demonstrates clinical competence. May require a professional certification which is a regulatory requirement in the State of Michigan or a documented community standard for the position, works independently and in collaboration with principal investigator when appropriate. QualificationsEDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Required Qualifications Graduate from an accredited school of nursing. Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing as a Registered Nurse. Current BLS or ACLS per Henry Ford Health policy. Successful completion of Henry Ford Ambulatory orientation. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
