Technicians must have experience installing fire alarm cabling and EMT conduit and be comfortable working an overnight shift. Responsibilities Install fire alarm cabling throughout the building according to approved drawings. Install EMT conduit, boxes, supports, and associated raceway. Bend and install EMT conduit as required. Pull, route, support, and label fire alarm cabling. Leave cabling properly prepared for device installation and termination by others. Coordinate routing with existing building conditions and other trades. Maintain a clean and safe work area throughout the project. Ensure work areas are ready for normal school operations each morning. Follow approved drawings and applicable fire alarm and electrical requirements. Requirements Previous fire alarm or low-voltage cabling experience. Must have experience bending EMT conduit. Ability to read and follow drawings and installation plans. Experience pulling, routing, supporting, and labeling cable. Must provide your own basic hand tools. Ability to work independently and as part of a crew. Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.
Schedule Night shift:
4:00 PM - 7:00 AM Saturday work may be available Apply with your resume and relevant fire alarm, low-voltage, and conduit experience. #IND1
Pay:
$20.00 - $28.00 per hour
