Key Qualifications:
Valid and unencumbered Registered Nurse license Minimum one year recent experience as an RN in an OR setting Proven knowledge of surgical procedures, sterile technique, and perioperative care BLS and ACLS certifications (current and active) Strong communication, assessment, and problem-solving skills Adaptability to new systems and patient care approaches
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver exceptional patient care before, during, and after surgery in the operating room Ensure operating room and equipment are prepared and maintained according to safety protocols Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia, and surgical techs for optimal outcomes Monitor patient status, document care, and respond to emergencies with critical thinking Support orientation and guidance for new staff or travelers as needed
