Job Description

Category Nursing - RN-MS Job Type Contract Skilled registered nurses with strong expertise in medical-surgical care are sought for a contract opportunity. This role focuses on delivering exceptional care in a fast-paced Med Surg environment. Candidates will work an overnight schedule (7PM - 7AM), and must be open to floating to units of equal or lower acuity as needed. This is a 13-week contract ideal for experienced professionals ready to make an impact and collaborate across multiple care settings.
Schedule:
7PM - 7AM overnight shifts 13-week contract duration Flexibility to float to units with similar or lesser acuity required
Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years of recent Med Surg RN experience Active, unrestricted Michigan RN license BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA only) must be in hand before starting
Preferred:
foundational telemetry experience Willingness to float to a lockdown unit when requested
Responsibilities:
Deliver comprehensive, patient-centered care to medical-surgical populations Accurately assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing interventions Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes Adapt to varying patient populations by floating to different units as needed Maintain accurate and timely documentation following hospital standards Uphold safety, infection control, and hospital policy procedures
