Job Description

Job Summary The Health Resource Advocate (HRA) will identify and treat (within the providers scope of practice) health disorders among students and provides instruction in the maintenance of good health and disease prevention. The employee must evaluate the physical conditions of students and refer students to appropriate resources as needed. The HRA will use clinical judgement to assess, diagnose, treat, and evaluate the student response to actual or potential health conditions. The HRA will work to maintain a safe school environment. Minimum Qualifications

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
Registered Nurse (RN) with a minimum of an associate's degree in nursing (preferred); Current RN License in Michigan
Three years' experience as a professional LPN/RN
CPR Certified
Previous experience working with ventilator dependent patients
