REQUIREMENTS

Graduate from an accredited school of nursing. Bachelor of nursing preferred. Current RN license in MI. Current BLS certificate.

ACLS/PALS

required, if not completed, must be done within 6 months of hire. CAMMP course, or equivalent cardiac rhythm interpretation course within 1 year. Minimum 2 years of OR experience required. Minimum 2 years of management required.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Provides professional perioperative nursing care. Coordinates care planning with other disciplines. Oversees the successful delivery of quality patient care in the peri-operative period.
