The ideal candidate would have previous experience working in an office setting, feel confident in their phlebotomy skills, testing, charting, and handling patient concerns. He/She would have a natural passion for patient care and should also have an interest in holistic and integrative medicine, wishing to pursue a career in which patients come first. To learn more about our practice and our team members, check out our website: www.nhicwestmi.com Possible Responsibilities and Duties Support the IV department by providing phlebotomy and nutritional IV administration. Draw and process lab work as ordered by physicians. Support the general success of the medical lines through teamwork and dedication. Work closely with the physicians, by communicating recommendations, taking questions from patients, and documenting completely and accurately in the patient chart. Work closely with the other medical staff to handle all workflow in the IV department, dividing workload, and keeping patients well-serviced. Explain testing options and provide patient education, as directed by the physician.
