Pre-Admission Testing Registered Nurse (RN) Hillsdale Hospital Part-Time 1099 Contract | Approximately 20 Hours per Week $55 per Hour | Monday-Friday Challenge Anesthesia is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to provide Pre-Admission Testing services for patients preparing for procedures at Hillsdale Hospital. This is a part-time 1099 contract position averaging approximately 20 hours per week, Monday through Friday. The RN will conduct pre-operative assessments primarily by phone, review patient health information, identify potential concerns, and help ensure patients are appropriately prepared for their upcoming procedure. Responsibilities Conduct pre-admission testing interviews and assessments by phone Review medical history, medications, allergies, previous procedures, and relevant health information Provide patients with pre-operative instructions and education Review available laboratory results, diagnostic testing, and medical documentation Identify clinical concerns requiring additional review, testing, or follow-up Communicate with hospital staff, providers, and surgical teams as appropriate Document PAT assessments accurately and completely Help coordinate outstanding information or requirements before the patient's scheduled procedure Position Details 1099 independent contractor position Approximately 20 hours per week Monday through Friday $55 per hour Consistent part-time weekday schedule Pre-Admission Testing for Hillsdale Hospital surgical patients Qualifications Active Registered Nurse license in Michigan Previous nursing experience required Pre-operative, PACU, surgical, critical care, emergency, or pre-admission testing experience preferred Strong assessment and clinical judgment skills Comfortable reviewing medical histories, medications, and pre-operative requirements Strong communication and documentation skills Comfortable working independently and managing patient follow-up This position is a great fit for an experienced RN looking for consistent weekday hours without committing to a traditional full-time bedside nursing schedule.
