Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. Responsibilities Conduct thorough patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and physiological evaluations to inform diagnosis and treatment plans. Administer medications, injections, and treatments such as botulinum toxin therapy with precision and adherence to safety protocols. Perform specialized procedures including IV insertion, catheter care, suturing, phlebotomy, and tube feeding while maintaining aseptic techniques. Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Epic or Cerner to document patient information accurately and efficiently. Monitor patients' conditions closely in acute care environments such as ICU or trauma centers, providing critical interventions when necessary. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop discharge planning and coordinate long-term or post-acute care for diverse patient populations. Manage complex cases involving infectious disease care, hospice & palliative medicine, behavioral health, or geriatrics. Support triage processes in urgent care or emergency room settings to prioritize patient needs effectively. Educate patients and families on health coaching strategies, medication management, and disease prevention. Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations and ensure confidentiality of all medical records. Requirements Valid Registered Nurse license in accordance with state or national licensing boards. Proven experience in diverse clinical environments including hospital medicine, ICU, emergency medicine, long-term care facilities, or assisted living communities. Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems such as Epic or Cerner; familiarity with ICD coding (ICD-9/ICD-10) is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of nursing practices across specialties including medical-surgical, pediatrics, geriatrics, behavioral health, and trauma medicine. Experience performing advanced procedures such as suturing, venipuncture, catheterization, sterile processing techniques, and airway management. Critical care experience in Level I or Level II trauma centers preferred; experience in neonatal ventilator management or PICU is a plus. Ability to handle complex cases involving acute pain management and infectious disease protocols. Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively with individuals with disabilities or developmental challenges. Knowledge of OSHA standards related to infection control and aseptic technique. Additional certifications such as Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), or Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) are advantageous.
