1 Description American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg RN for a night shift position on a 27-bed unit caring for ortho/neuro, oncology, and general medical-surgical patients, requiring active MI RN licensure and prior med/surg experience. Details 27-bed medical/surgical unit caring for Ortho/Neuro, Med/Surg, and Oncology patients Patients on general telemetry monitored remotely, with no cardiac drips Typical patient population includes stroke, post-back surgery, and post-hip/knee replacement cases Night shift schedule (3x12 hours, 1900-0730) Every other weekend required No on-call requirements Uses Cerner charting system Requirements Active MI RN license required BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required Minimum 1 year of relevant nursing experience required Cerner charting experience preferred Additional Information Provide nursing care across a diverse patient population including ortho, neuro, and oncology cases Every other holiday coverage required First-time travelers are welcome to apply Travelers must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be considered
