1 Description American Traveler is hiring an Infusion RN for an outpatient oncology infusion center, requiring MI RN licensure and chemotherapy/immunotherapy certification. Details Work in an outpatient oncology infusion center Day shift schedule of 4x10-hour shifts, 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM (hours may vary based on unit needs) Every other weekend required No night shifts, floating, or on-call responsibilities Patient ratio of 1:10-12 Utilizes Epic EMR, with Beacon experience preferred Requirements Active MI RN license required by start date (compact license not accepted) Current BLS certification required

ONS/ONCC

chemotherapy and immunotherapy certification required OCN certification preferred AHA certifications preferred Minimum 1 year of relevant experience required Epic EMR experience required Skilled in IV therapy, infusions, and accessing/managing ports Experience administering chemotherapy, blood products, and coagulation factors Experience with central line and PICC line care Knowledge of oncologic emergencies including anaphylaxis and extravasation injury Experience recognizing and managing chemotherapy side effects Teaching hospital and previous charge experience preferred Additional Information Provide direct patient care including chemotherapy administration, port access, and IV therapy Manage and monitor patients receiving biotherapy, immunotherapy, and cytotoxic therapy Recognize and communicate abnormal lab values and manage oncologic emergencies Deliver psychosocial support including patient/family education and symptom management Care for patients with a variety of cancer diagnoses including breast, lung, colorectal, and hematologic malignancies Epic training provided during orientation Pre-start modules required, which may vary by specialty First-time travelers are welcome to apply Local candidates accepted at the same rate as travel Former core staff must wait 12 months before returning to the facility Maximum RTO of 5 days per assignment
