Responsibilities Provide leadership and oversight to the nursing staff in the delivery of home health and or hospice care. Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and company regulations and standards. Develop and implement nursing policies, procedures, and standards of care. Coordinate patient care plans and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes. Supervise staff performance, provide education, and promote professional development. Oversee quality assurance and improvement initiatives to maintain accreditation and regulatory compliance. Manage scheduling and staffing to ensure adequate coverage and patient care needs are met. Requirements Current and valid RN license in the state of Michigan. At least one year of experience as a Director of Nursing (DON) in home health or hospice nursing. Extensive experience in home health and hospice nursing, with proven leadership capabilities. Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards related to home health and hospice care. Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
