A Dialysis Registered Nurse cares for patients with kidney disease and coordinates dialysis treatment for patients. Educates patients and families about dialysis treatment and equipment, and monitors patients' medications. Works under the supervision of physicians in clinical settings, including hospitals, dialysis clinics and doctor's offices, and may visit patients that receive dialysis at home.

Job Description:
Reports to the Dialysis Nurse Manager/Coordinator of the Dialysis program. Maintains a collaborative working relationship with the Medical Director, Manager, Technical Leader and all unit staff.
Physical Demands/working Conditions:
Stands and walks most of time on duty. Lifts and pushes patients on stretchers and in wheelchairs. Lifts and carries dialysate solution containers. May be subject to hazardous wastes and materials. Must pass Color vision test. Ability to respond to audible alarms is required.
Required:
Must have at least 2 years experience with Dialysis Graduate of state approved school of nursing. Possesses current RN licensure with the applicable State Board of Nursing.
Additional Notes:
Candidate is expected take assignment (possibly tech assignments, meds, and assessments) Can see up to 36 patients in office a day.
