Entech Medical Staffing is seeking Registered Nurse's with experience in perioperative care to work at a gastroenterology clinic in Livonia!
Hours:
4 days per week (36 hours total) No weekends!
Pay Rate:
Up to $40/hr. This is a short-term placement (3-4 months) with the possibility of extension
Job Description:
  • Accepts responsibility for the nursing care of assigned patients by providing individualized patient care.
  • Patient assessment, identification of patient problems or potential problems before, during and after the performance of a variety of endoscopic procedures.
  • The RN will be responsible for working on admitting preparing the patient, procedure room monitoring the patient and assisting the physician, and/or recovering the patient post procedure.
  • Responsible for monitoring, ordering and maintaining supplies and equipment maintenance such as emergency supplies.
  • Utilizes initiative and strives to maintain a steady level of productivity. Is a self-starter. Is supportive and a team player.
  • Work ethics and goals reflect quality patient care and the mission and goals of the Center.
  • Charge nurse in absence of the Nurse Manager and/or Lead Charge Nurse.
Qualifications/Requirements:
  • Must be a licensed Registered Nurse in the state of Michigan
  • Must have BLS certification, ACLS preferred
  • Must have 1 or more years experience in a pre/post operative setting
  • Have Negative TB test within the past year or willing to obtain
  • Interpersonal skills necessary to communicate effectively with patients, family members, and co-workers.
  • Ability to read, write and learn computer entry/retrieval and pay close attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a demanding environment that requires walking and standing for most of the work day.
  • Ability to maintain professional appearance and demeanor at all times
  • Ability to be flexible with assignments based on patient care requirements as well as patient needs We look forward to hearing from you!
